Finding It
You enter Las Vegas Beer Garden from Soi Diana and the walkway opens up in front of you. Bars on both sides — neon signs, staff waving hello, the smell of cold beer drifting out from half a dozen open doors. Most people stop at the first bar they see. Fair enough. Pocket Kings at the entrance is hard to walk past.

Here's the thing: every bar in the complex can hear the music. The bands are loud enough for that. But hearing the band and being AT the show are different experiences. From KQ Bar, you're close enough to see the calluses on the guitarist's fingers. Close enough to hear the singer crack a joke between songs.
